Frequently Asked Questions About a Candle and Mineral Makeup Business

So, you have a few questions, right? 

Good, I hoped that you would. If you don't find the answers you are looking for here, call me or email me and let's get your questions answered. This is important to me so please don't hesitate to ask. I am interested in empowering you to make a solid decision.

 First, before we go any further, I want to tell you a little about how I work with my team and exactly who I am looking for as a partner, and what my criteria is for those whom I coach.

If you've been involved in a business from home before, or Network Marketing, you may have an idea of what you want and expect from your sponsor.

I make a solid commitment to each of my team partners. I promise to be here to work with, coach and train you and assist you in any way that I can in building a successful candle business from home. I won't do it for you, but I will be there and be available, to work right along side of you. Together, we will work out a business plan that fits your needs.

My team consistently holds 5-8 of the "Top Ten Sponsor Monsters" for our company each month. I will coach you in the methods we use to achieve this, if you are serious and willing to BE coached!

I am looking for fun, motivated, visionary partners who want to create something more in their lives. This is not a get rich quick scheme, or a lottery type system. 

Success in this business requires some effort. And, whatever it is that you desire - whether an extra $200 a month, or $20,000 a month, or more, I am committed to helping you achieve just that.

Q. What is your criteria for coaching me?

A. What's important to you in a business? That's the first thing we'll figure out along with how you want to work the business. Do you want to focus on retail? Are you interested in fundraising? Or how about building a team of others and developing residual income? My goal is to get you started on the fast track to success in the area that interests you most.

I'm looking for those who are serious about being successful and willing to make a commitment to their business. I teach what I do because I have used it, tested it, and been successful with it. Nothing I teach is theory or guesswork. And, I can only coach you in those methods that I have used myself. That is not to say that there are not other ways, and that you can't try new ideas. You can! Just understand that I can only teach, coach and advise on what I know.

Q, Why this company? What's unique about the product?

A. Our Gourmet Candle and Mineral Makeup business offers a very different approach to a home based business. There are three very distinct ways to earn a very lucrative income - retail, fundraisers and build a downline. I will teach you how to combine all three for maximum profits. The product line is unique and growing. It's an exciting time. This is a product and a business that appeals to men and women, young and old - virtually everyone!

Q. How much will it cost me to get started?

A. Bare minimum, $49.95 to get started and $39.95 a month, plus shipping. That satisfies your monthly commitment and gives you one 16 oz jar, one dozen votives and one Gourmet Bar, and our company website each month. Review our Starter Packages here

However, this does not give you what you need to be successful. To REALLY be successful, I am going to detail what I recommend.

First, if you are serious about building a successful business order one of our Business Builder Packs (our Total Pack (Includes everything from both of the other two Packs at a steep discount), Mineral Makeup Demo Pack, or the Fast Start Pack), with everything you will need to successfully launch your business and put cash in your pocket from day one! Q. How much money can I make?

A. That depends on you entirely. I made over $1000 my first month. How? I followed the plan I now teach and retailed the product, did a few parties and sponsored others into my business. We can customize a business plan that works for you and your situation. My belief is that in the next few years, especially as new products come out and as people become more and more aware of the dangers associated with paraffin candles, and learn about healthy Mineral Makeup you will see many six figure income earners in my business. Q. How soon will I make money?

A. Again, that depends on you. Many people make money their very first day by just calling a few friends and letting them simply smell the candles or demo the makeup. This is where your Business Builder Pack is SO important. If you are coachable, we will work together to help you retail and begin to sponsor others your very first month. The question really is "How much do you want to make your first month?"

Q. How do I get started?

A. First, be sure you are committed to wanting more in your life and working with a team committed to getting more! Then, complete the signup form here. 

If possible, get started with one of our Business Builder Packs and have everything you need to make money from day one. If this is not an option, determine how quickly you can add to your inventory. Our company statistics clearly show who is successful and who is not.

Then, the real fun begins. I will get you started with Our Training, a phone call and, our partnership will be launched.

Q. How do I build my business?

A. I have a system that will work for anyone - the part timer, full timer, those who love to recruit others and those who don't. The key to building your business is to find what works best for you, put your nose to the grindstone and focus forward. My training will teach you how to find what will work for you.

When I started, I focused on all three areas for maximum profits. I retailed the candles, I set up and monitored fundraisers and I recruited others to the team. My retailing and fundraising efforts always produce interested prospects. That was in March, 2003. I did this for my first eight months in the business.

Once I got my feet wet and knew what I had my hands on, I put my efforts into team building and sponsoring others.

So, now, my primary focus, "team building." This is where the big money is made in an MLM - Network Marketing Business. Don't let this scare you. I have over 15 years in the industry and will teach you many different methods to achieve this. It won't mean chasing your friends. Instead, let them know what you are doing and let them decide.

Today, my daughter and I do mineral makeup and candle parties together, and focus on the mother/teen concept and healthier makeup options. It's fun, lucrative and teaches her great business skills at a young age.

Retailing can be done through - friends, family, open houses, home parties, retail stores, craft shows and boutiques, county fairs and street fairs, business expos, while out and about, etc.

Fundraisers - sports teams, school PTA's/PTO's, church groups, youth groups, dance studios, non profit organizations, school bands, boy/girl scouts, etc. 

Sponsoring Others - this is my specialty, and I will teach you how to notify those you know about your business and sponsor people that come to you and are ready to start a business.

Q. How can I find leads?

A. People who will be interested in your business are everywhere. And, I prefer to work only with people who are interested and come to me. I believe that a big reason that many people are not successful in Network Marketing is because they aren't talking to the right people. Working with leads and people that find me online is a much more desirable way to do business.

Q. Will you teach me how to build my business online?

A. YES, if that is what you want! That is my passion, and what I know is that for you to be successful online, you must complete phase 1 first, which is notifying your warm market, Your Business Launch and getting some success under your belt.  This is to ensure your success. I won't ever try to force my way of working my business on you. I am interested in creating a win-win and a business plan that works for you.

Q. What if I only have 10 - 15 hours a week to work my business?

A. It's not quantity of time that matters, it's quality of time. 10 to 15 is really the bare minimum to make a business successful. Reading email, reading books and studying the website can seem like business time, but it won't produce one red cent for you. So, as long as you are willing to make that 10-15 hours productive, focused time, you can have a successful business. And, I'll teach you how to do that! We'll work together to map out a working business plan that fits you!

Q. I don't want to talk to people I know, can I still be successful with this business?

A. Yes, you can. And, it takes a much longer time, just to be honest. You may think you don't want to talk to them because you have been involved in something before, but I do assure you - candle and makeup are different.

Although I encourage you to at least let your friends, family and others know about your new business and let them smell the candles. You do not have to tell them about the business side, or even ask them to buy anything. Simply tell them what you are doing and ask if they have any ideas. Personally, I believe sharing the products with friends and family is the fastest way to launch and succeed in a business.

Q. My spouse does not support me, can I still build a successful business?

A. Yes, in most cases. If your spouse is adamantly opposed to your business, you may want to really think things out. However, if your spouse is just skeptical, and does not want any personal involvement, that's okay. It will be important that you make good use of your available time and resources and keep your "why" for doing this business planted firmly in front of you.

Speak to your spouse and simply ask him/her to please support you to the extent that he/she respects your decision, does not belittle you, and set up some guidelines that you are both comfortable with for business hours, etc. And, then make sure you respect these guidelines.

Make it a point to earn a profit as quickly as possible and keep it growing. This usually changes the spouse from skeptical to okay, to down right excited.

Q. I have been in MLM before and have not had success. Why will this program work for me?

A. I can't promise you that it will work for you, but I do know about the commitment I will make to you. First, what reasons do you believe were the cause of your previous lack of success? What will you do differently? How committed are you to achieving what you say you want? Are you coachable? Are you willing to work closely with me and follow a system for success?

I was not an immediate success in MLM, so I can likely relate to much of what you may have experienced. I learned to work through a lot of my obstacles and would love to help you do the same.

If you get clear on what you do want, let go of the past, and focus forward, your past will not dictate your future.

Q. I have small children, can I still build a business?

A. My son was 18 months when I started my business in January, 1994, and my daughter was born in May, 1995. You do the math. Can you build your business with small children? ABSOLUTELY! Today, my "babies" help me in my business and we have a ball! My son recently wrote a report at school about how proud he is of his mom and her business. That was worth more than any paycheck. Use your children to empower you in your business, not as an excuse not to build a business. I will teach you how to get them involved.

This is truly a business that families can do and even kids! Here is my daughter Lexi, with me, at my company "Spring Fling 2005." She even presented a testimonial on stage about this business! I love developing that entrepreneurial spirit at such a young age. 

Q. What if I am in another program, should I quit and join you?

A. That really depends on your situation. If you're already in a main program with a large downline then I recommend two things. One, I partner with people in ALL different programs as a coach and lead provider. Find out more about how we can work together here!
